My almost 2 year old loves this book。 Wheels on the bus is one of his favorite songs。 The Illustrations are really cute in this book。 We read or rather sing it multiple times a day。。。。 again and again right after we just finished 🤣 My son says 'more' as soon as I finish reading because he wants me to read it again。 My almost 2 year old loves this book。 Wheels on the bus is one of his favorite songs。 The Illustrations are really cute in this book。 We read or rather sing it multiple times a day。。。。 again and again right after we just finished 🤣 My son says 'more' as soon as I finish reading because he wants me to read it again。 。。。more

A cute way to introduce this song with babies。 Fun illustrations that extend the story beyond the simple lyrics of the song。It would make a great baby gift。 Recommended 0-2 year olds。

It has colorful pages and pictures for kids to expand their creativity while singing this song。 It is a catchy song that kids will love to sing and get involved in。 4) This book is great for a time you want kids to get up and be interactive。 This is a song that I still find myself singing because it was so catchy。 I never had a physical book for this song so this is a great new addition and a cool new way to learn。 5 1) No awards 2) Prek-13) This is a twist on the classic song wheels on the bus! In this book, the much-loved children's song is sung! Not only do the wheels go round and round, but the bus also has doors that open and shut, as well as windshield wipers that move back and forth。The text of the book is the lyrics to the song。 There are many illustrations, such as, one involving a boy with a box of kittens, a motorcyclist and her runaway puppy, and a young man with a guitar。 I would recommend for Pre-school。 For an activity, students can make their own bus! Apparently the Raffi version of wheels on the bus uses a slightly different tune than the original version, and us children of the 80s and 90s got all pretty used to the Raffi version, which means everything I (and likely you) grew up with is a lie。In any case, this is a capable version of Wheels on the Bus, with decent art and no weird lyrics that generally hews to the original。

My 2 year old loves the song "The Wheels on the Bus," and I grew up with Raffi。 This book was published in the 1980s but the illustrations seem to be set in a 1900's village with zero non-white characters。 Due to the lack of diversity in the images I would not purchase this book for a home or classroom library。 My 2 year old loves the song "The Wheels on the Bus," and I grew up with Raffi。 This book was published in the 1980s but the illustrations seem to be set in a 1900's village with zero non-white characters。 Due to the lack of diversity in the images I would not purchase this book for a home or classroom library。 。。。more

So glad the artwork in this book has been updated to include people of color。 We are a multigenerational Raffi-fan family, and this book is one of my bus-obsessed toddler’s favorites, but it bothered me that everyone was white in the original。 I was happy to find and purchase the new version!

Camille

Love the illustrations。 Very cute。 For some reason the copy we checked out from the library had one page that was upside down。

Jeremy

I love this song。 We read this over and over and over。

I think there’s better versions out there。 It was ok。

This book tells a story of the different things happening during the travels of a bus in the form of song。 This is the most common song which is sung to younger children。 The wheels go round and round, the wipers go swish swish swish, the driver on the bus goes move on back, the people go up and down, the baby goes wah wah wah, the parents say sh sh sh, the horn goes beep beep beep, and the book ends with the wheels on the bus go round and round。 This is such an awesome book。 I feel in love with This book tells a story of the different things happening during the travels of a bus in the form of song。 This is the most common song which is sung to younger children。 The wheels go round and round, the wipers go swish swish swish, the driver on the bus goes move on back, the people go up and down, the baby goes wah wah wah, the parents say sh sh sh, the horn goes beep beep beep, and the book ends with the wheels on the bus go round and round。 This is such an awesome book。 I feel in love with the illustrations! They are beautifully done which will attract the children's attention。 The appropriate grade level for this book would be pre-kindergarten through kindergarten。 An appropriate activity I can complete with children would be doing a dance around the room that requires them to do different body movements with the song。 This would be a good large motor skill activity and also get the children's energy out。 Another activity I can complete with children would be putting the child's name on a bus。 I would then cut the bus into stripes that will display one letter of their name on each piece。 The children can then put their name in the correct order by letter recognition。 。。。more

Another great love of my niece's。 Last time I was there for bed time, she handed me this book no less than 6 times to read/sing to her。 Her mom had to hide it so she'd stop asking me to sing it。 lol She knows all her actions too (beeping the horn, swishing the wipers, ushering people back, going up and down)。 We did swap out some words though。 Instead of wah wah wah, the babies on the bus go tee hee hee (because my niece cries in the car and we don't want to encourage her) and the parents say I Another great love of my niece's。 Last time I was there for bed time, she handed me this book no less than 6 times to read/sing to her。 Her mom had to hide it so she'd stop asking me to sing it。 lol She knows all her actions too (beeping the horn, swishing the wipers, ushering people back, going up and down)。 We did swap out some words though。 Instead of wah wah wah, the babies on the bus go tee hee hee (because my niece cries in the car and we don't want to encourage her) and the parents say I love you instead of shushing。 Makes no sense to shush a baby that's laughing, right? Omg this book created an obsession with our toddler。 I am so sick of this fucking song。 He knows all the hand motions now and it’s adorable but my god。 I had to return it。 The illustrations are on point, so much plot hidden there for those of us who read it a million times。 Love the Canadian backdrop。
